Holmes University Youth Summer Camp Participation Agreement & Waiver


1. Details of Activity


Your child is enrolled in the Holmes University Youth Summer Camp, a two-week interactive experience focused on real estate, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and hands-on learning. Camp activities include:


  • Classroom instruction and group discussions

  • In-field property walkthroughs and construction site assessments

  • Tool use and basic construction projects (supervised)

  • Guest speakers and workshops

  • Leadership and team-building activities


All programming is supervised by qualified staff. While safety is a priority, participation involves physical activity and exposure to real-world learning environments.


2. Consideration & Assumption of Risk


By signing below, I acknowledge and agree to the following:


  • I understand and accept that participation involves potential risks, including minor injuries, illness, or property damage.

  • I have selected an appropriate level of activity for my child based on their physical and emotional ability.

  • I agree not to hold Holmes University, its staff, volunteers, or affiliates responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages, including those caused by negligence, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

  • Holmes University is not responsible for stolen, lost, or damaged personal items.


3. Fitness, Conduct, Photo Release, and Refunds


  • I confirm my child is physically and emotionally fit to participate and I will inform the camp of any allergies, conditions, or accommodations required.

  • I understand that my child is expected to follow all camp rules. Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in dismissal without refund.

  • I grant Holmes University permission to photograph or video my child during camp activities for use in promotional materials, including but not limited to social media, print, and the website.

  • I understand that no refunds will be issued once my child is enrolled in the program.


4. Full and Final Statement

The Parent/Guardian acknowledges and agrees that:


  1. Holmes University has provided sufficient time to carefully review and consider the terms of this waiver prior to signing.

  2. The Parent/Guardian has been encouraged to seek independent legal advice before signing, if desired.

  3. The Parent/Guardian fully understands the risks involved and the rights they are waiving in order for the Participant (their child) to take part in the program.

  4. The Parent/Guardian is signing this waiver voluntarily and of their own free will.

  5. The Parent/Guardian is permanently waiving the right to bring any legal action, claim, or cause of action against Holmes University or any of its staff, contractors, volunteers, or affiliates for any personal injury, illness, or property loss that may arise in connection with the Participant’s involvement in or preparation for the program.
